Tigers, SLO High’s canned food drive is this week! Bring all non-perishable items to the Quad before school or during break to show your support of our community AND it is a class competition. The winning class will win 200 points, second place 150, third 100 and fourth place will win 50 points. Show class spirit and support the community.
Students! The tenth graders are in the lead for the canned food drive. Make sure to bring cans to show your support.
All students have received an email with a short survey regarding TNN. Please check your student email and take 5 minutes to provide the TNN crew feedback so they can continue to improve their broadcast and get the news to you.
Tigers! Reach Club wants you to fill out a postcard to show appreciation to a friend or staff member. Additionally, stop by and put a sticker on the board located next to the postcard station to help make a cool design and help promote kindness month. The board will be located next to the postcard station out in the quad.

Tigers, this Friday is PJ Day at SLO High. Come to school wearing your favorite pair of pajamas and slippers, but please don’t forget the dress code still applies. There will be hot chocolate given out before school by the Big Tree to those who are dressed for the spirit day.

Have you ever wanted to speak on, or educate your peers on something you are passionate about? Well here’s your chance! Tiger Talks are SLO High School’s take on the famous TED Talks. Applications are available outside the ASB room (130) and due on March 31st. Both students and staff are encouraged to apply!
Change in PSAT 10 Test Date: Please mark your calendar. The PSAT 10 exam date has been changed to Monday, April 3rd. Please plan on arriving to the test site location no later than 7:50 a.m. You will receive a reminder notice and test location prior to the exam. Fundraiser at “The Habit” for the Dave Melton Memorial Math Scholarship on Wednesday, April 5th, from 4pm to close. Dave was one of our beloved Math teachers. Order up a burger & fries and finish with a $1 frosty and 20% will go the fund! Flyers will be all over campus just “click” and take photo to share when you order your meal.
The SLO Color Blast Fun Run is a non-competitive family-friendly 5k run/walk on Saturday, April 8th.
Band Fundraiser: Turn in used phones and ink cartridges to support band. We get more money than you may think! Drop items off at the band room until Monday, April 10th. Donations are also being accepted.

Dignity Health Physicians Mentoring Program applications OPEN April 1st for 6-8 weeks during June & August, 3-5 day per week commitment, Arroyo Grande Community Hospital, French Hospital Medical Center, Marian Regional Medical Center. Mayor’s Award for Community Service Celebration & ceremony will be on Tuesday, June 6th. To be eligible for the Mayor’s Award, students should submit community service verification forms to the Career Center NO LATER THAN Monday, May 15th.
