Science eProject

Purpose of the Project:

To extend learning beyond classroom presentations.  To develop personal skills in organization, research, creative thought and multimedia presentations.

 

Type of Project:

An eProject is a multimedia presentation.  Your group will create and present a multimedia production. This may be in the form of a PowerPoint Slide Show or a Web Page format.

 

Group Size:

Small groups by topic.  Realize that you will have a “shared” effort and result. Each student must prepare and present information. All students in the group need to work together for the benefit of the whole.

 

Due Dates:

5/19/03  Topics will be chosen by students from a list provided by the teacher. Determine type of presentation. Assign responsibility to each group member. You will be limited to 5 slides in a PowerPoint presentation or 5 pages (each must fit the screen) for a Web Page.

 

6/2/03  Final project due. Presentations start.

 

Oral Presentation:

A formal presentation will be given during class. Each student in the group must provide information during the presentation. You will be limited to 10 minutes for your oral.  You should be prepared to answer questions.

 

Ethics:

You may receive advice from your parents or others but the eProject must be your own design and your own effort to be considered acceptable for a grade.
