¨ If you haven’t had a chance to see the school-play A Midsummer’s Night’s Dream, we will have the last showing
tonight at 6:30PM. Admission is $5 for students / $7 for adults.

¨ Congratulations to ASB for hosting another fantastic Spring Spirit Rally. It was great to see students and staff getting
involved in the lip synch competition. The Annex boys were pretty terrific!

¨ Spring sports are going well with impressive wins for Girls’ softball and Track & Field. The Boys’ Volleyball,
Boys’ Golf and Boys’ Tennis teams remain undefeated in league play. Good job Tiger athletes!

¨ Congratulations to the San Luis Obispo High School FFA Chapter on their nomination as a State Finalist for the
National Chapter Award. Our students & teachers will be recognized at the State FFA conference. Well done Aggies!

¨ The SLOHS Band is also traveling to Fresno for a competition they’re sure to win. Good luck!

¨ Congratulations to Jonathan & Caleb Rabbon on their outstanding performances in the Nor Cal Jr. Olympics State
Championship in Gymnastics. They are part of Nor-Cal All -Star Team that will compete at the Men’s Region 1 Gymnastics
Championship at Phoenix, Arizona in April.

¨ Thank you to all the parents, students & staff who ate at CHIPOTLE on Wednesday night to fund the Dave Melton
Memorial Math Scholarship fundraiser. We raised $800 during the event – enough for 2 scholarships!

¨ TUESDAY: The English Language Advisory Committee (ELAC) will meet in the library at 6:30PM. We will have a
guest speaker, Dr. Jose Navarro, speaking about how a formal education can improve the lives of children and
what we can do to motivate them. All are welcome to attend.

¨ WEDNESDAY: Attention all senior students, Cuesta College will be on campus Wednesday, April 2nd at 7PM. If
Cuesta is in your plans for fall 2014 and your student is a senior you don’t want to miss this presentation! Please
attend and learn how you can support your transitioning adult student to college life at Cuesta.

¨ With ¾ of the school year behind us and Graduation fast approaching, it is important to remember that the
final push until June will be filled with important dates, tests and celebrations. To stay on top on of all the
information, please visit our website, check the daily bulletin, & talk with your students. Parents… please
call the Attendance Office when clearing absences and when clearing students ahead of time for appts.
Thank you for helping Mr. Frost & Mr. Black and the Attendance office Staff. Our truancy rates keep improving.
Last year at this time our truancy rate was 41% while this year it has dropped to 32%! Let’s keep up the
great work.

Have a well deserved break and if you see me running around town shout hello!
