¨ Kudos to the amazing cast and the wonderful work of Kate Stephens for a thoroughly enjoyable and funny rendition of “Legally
Blonde The Musical.” Bravo to all involved!

¨ Congratulations to our Boys’ tennis team on an outstanding season. Our boys lost a tough semi-final match to Cypress High

¨ It was wonderful to see many parents, students and community members attend our annual Tiger Fest and Golden Tiger Excellence
Awards on Wednesday. The evening was a huge success due to the collective efforts of our staff and students. Special
praise goes to Jim Johnson, Colleen Martin and Kathy Stevenson, the Black and Gold organization and our ASB and
AVID students for all their efforts and support in hosting a celebration for our school.

¨ Parents and student-athletes were well represented at the Spring Sports Awards on Thursday night. Jeff Brandow, Joyce
Villa, Lynne Fendall and the Tiger Athletic Boosters should be praised their efforts and support of this event.

¨ Kudos to all for another fantastic senior recognition assembly. We are very proud of all our senior students.

¨ Good luck to our Track and Field athletes Raymond Smith, William Ernst, Grace Torress, Elizabeth Willey, Kelsey
Shetler, Jill McGuire, Lexi Johnson, Shaina Morris and Cassidy Block as they compete this weekend at the CIF Southern
Section finals at Cerritos College. Good luck to Michael Daigle in the CIF Southern Section Golf Championships in Palm
Springs next week. Good luck to Mason Hansen, Josh Milla, Noah Cleere, and Alex Dill in the CIFSS Individual Tennis
Championships next Thursday in Santa Barbara.

¨ Congratulations to Taylor McCreary for winning the country Trig Star Math Competition this past month.

¨ If you are participating in “24 Hour Relay” this weekend make sure you get some rest tonight and wear lots of sun screen for
the event.


¨ Monday: No School in observance of Memorial Day.

¨ Tuesday: English Language Advisory Committee (ELAC) meets in the library at 6:30PM

¨ Wednesday: Come out and support our Band and Choir concert at the Performing Arts Center on the Cal Poly campus. The
concert begins at 7pm. Admission is $12 for adults and $6 for kids under 12. Parking is included.

¨ Wednesday: Sports Physical Night May 28th at 6 pm in the New Gym. $20 donation.

¨ Final Exams are right around the corner on June 3, 4 and 5.

¨ Senior Showcase at the PAC on June 5th at 6:00PM

¨ Graduation ceremonies will be on the campus on June 6th at 4:30PM
