This is the first course in the drafting sequence. This course is recommended for students who have a career interest in engineering, architecture, interior design, Computer-Aided Drafting and Design, construction, gaming and animation, robotics and manufacturing. Engineering Drawing & Design I will begin by exploring the fundamentals of mechanical drafting, such as sketching, 2D drawings, 3D drawings, and dimensioning. The students will then progress to work with the latest version of 3D modeling software to produce multi-view drawings, isometric drawings, 3D models, and product designs.
