Length of Course: One trimester
This course is designed for individuals that have prior experience in strength and conditioning. This course will reinforce the proper guidelines, principles, and techniques of weight lifting, and the development of muscular strength, endurance, and power at an advanced level. Students will be introduced to Olympic lifting techniques. This course will develop individual weight training programs for different sports and optimize advanced evaluation techniques. Each student will progress at a rate commensurate with their abilities. Pre and post assessments will be conducted for flexibility, body composition, muscular strength, muscular endurance, speed, and agility.
